<p><strong>ABOUT SOUTHEASTERN NEW HAMPSHIRE ALCOHOL & DRUG ABUSE SERVICES</strong></p> <p>Located in Dover, N.H., Southeastern New Hampshire Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services (SNHADAS) is one of the state's <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/NH17.pdf" target="_blank">31 (46.3 percent)</a> nonprofit organization that provides treatment to individuals seeking recovery from substance use concerns. Along with one of the only <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/NH17.pdf" target="_blank">12 (17.9 percent)</a> <strong>short-term, residential treatment programs</strong> in New Hampshire, the center also offers <strong>transitional living</strong>, outpatient services, and <strong>intensive outpatient programs (IOP).</strong> Detoxification services are not mentioned on the center's website.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>According to its website, SNHADAS offers a <strong>high-intensity residential treatment program</strong>, which is usually seven to 28 days. The staff was incredibly caring."</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>According to SNHADAS's website, Southeastern New Hampshire Alcohol and Drug Abuse Services accepts Anthem Blue Cross, Medicaid, Maine Community Options, NH Healthy Families Health Plan/Cenpatico, Cigna, Ambetter, Minuteman, and Well Sense Health Plan/Beacon Strategies. The website also states that "the Agency will subsidize the cost of non-reimbursed services through contributions so that service will be available to all in need regardless of ability to pay."</p> <p><strong>CONCLUSION</strong></p> <p>In 2018, SNHADAS <a href="https://www.seacoastonline.com/news/20180920/greater-seacoast-community-health-expands-recovery-services" target="_blank">began a partnership</a> with Greater Seacoast Community Health to implement a Medication-Assisted Recovery program on-site at Southeastern NH Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services.
