Counseling is provided both on-site and remotely.</p> <p>Advanced DUI is a private for-profit organization, which comprise 31.3 percent of treatment facilities in Nevada, according to a <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/NV16.pdf" target="_blank">2016 SAMHSA survey</a>.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>The center <strong>utilizes the <a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/how-a-non-religious-journalist-makes-a-case-for-aa-in-2017/" target="_blank">12-step model of recovery</a></strong>, as well as an array of treatment modalities, including <strong>group and individual counseling</strong>, relapse prevention work, meditation, and education about alcohol and drugs.</p> <p>Advanced DUI and Counseling is one of <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/NV16.pdf" target="_blank">37 treatment facilities (46.3 percent)</a> in Nevada to offer an <strong>intensive outpatient program (IOP)</strong>. The four-week program involves attending three evening sessions a week, plus mandatory 12-step participation on the weekends.</p> <p>Additionally, the rehab offers <strong>Level I and Level II DUI schools</strong>, lasting two days and 12 weeks (at an hour per week), respectively. Through <strong>discussion, lectures, videos, and assignments</strong>, the programs teach clients about the broad consequences of driving while under the influence. Level I of the DUI course is available in Spanish.</p> <p>There are also a <strong>variety of group therapy sessions</strong> for individuals court-ordered to treatment for substance use disorders. Additionally, the center offers a dedicated program for individuals struggling with <strong>marijuana dependency</strong>, the only program of its kind in Nevada. In addition, the facility offers programming focused on meditation, stress management, and life coaching. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The center's owner and operator is a <strong>certified addiction counselor</strong>. Though there is currently no further information provided by the facility regarding its treatment staff, the single individual polled by Rehabs.com indicated that the facility had two mental health professionals on staff and two medical professionals employed on a contract basis. The same reviewer gave the facility one out of five stars for the experience levels of the mental health staff and four out of five stars for the experience levels of the medical staff.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>Though Rehabs.com has not received any reviews from alumni to date, alumni on secondary review sites yielded <strong>almost unanimously positive feedback</strong>. "Caring, compassionate staff that has a sincere desire to help those in need," M.D.Y. wrote. However, they also noted that the facility was experiencing "growing pains," in particular regarding "acquiring trained staff to meet the needs of a growing client base." M.D.Y. gave the facility five out of five stars for the management's honesty and their willingness to put clients' interests first and four out of five stars to most treatment metrics, including the overall quality of care.</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>According to Advanced DUI's website, most types of treatment cost <strong>$25 per session</strong>, though life coaching costs $50 per session.
