<p><strong>ABOUT RECYCLING GRACE WOMEN'S CENTER</strong></p> <p>Founded in 2009 and Located in Poplar Bluff, Mo., Recycling Grace Women's Center (RGWC) is one of the state's <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/MO16.pdf" target="_blank">58 (20.3 percent)</a> <strong>residential treatment programs for adults struggling with addiction.</strong> In addition to being <strong>Christian-based,</strong> this is amongst the just <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/MO16.pdf" target="_blank">101 (35.3 percent)</a> <strong><a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/reclaiming-the-feminine-in-recovery/" target="_blank">women-only programs</a></strong> in all of Missouri.</p> <p>According to the center's website, the treatment's mission statement is: "RGWC provides a Christ centered environment for women to break the cycle of addiction and become productive members of society."</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>According to the facility's website, RGWC's vision is to help clients <strong>become spiritually, physically, and emotionally healthy</strong>. The treatment center also wants clients to be able to support themselves and families once they finish treatment. RGWC believes <strong>honoring God, working hard, and integrity is the model for success</strong>.</p> <p>The objectives of RGWC include <strong>providing safe housing and future opportunities for independent living</strong>, offering Bible classes to promote spiritual healing, examining the emotions that contribute to addiction, <strong><a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/the-pain-of-addiction-in-the-family-how-counseling-can-help/" target="_blank">promoting family counseling,</a> helping with resume and interview skills,</strong> encouraging clients to resolve legal problems, and providing volunteer work, and advocating higher education. </p> <p>RGWC also facilities support groups such as <strong>restoring relationships, anger management, life skills, and emotional healing.</strong> </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>There is currently no information provided by the facility regarding its treatment staff; however, <a href="https://www.samhsa.gov/data/sites/default/files/report_3059/ShortReport-3059.pdf" target="_blank">98.8 percent of</a> all Missouri substance abuse treatment facilities have higher education requirements for staff. The sole alum surveyed by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing gave three out of five stars for the staff's level of training and experience.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>The center's website notes the treatment center started as an eight bed shelter, but it's not clear if they have added more space or beds. The single alum polled by Rehabs.com to date gave five out of five stars for its accommodations and amenities.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>The single former client polled by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing provided a generally positive review of the facility, giving five out of five stars for treatment effectiveness and meals and nutrition.</p> <p>Despite referring to the staff as "supportive," however, the alum gave only two stars for both the counseling options and the level of family participation. "Their still new only opened a year and working out quirks," the individual wrote. However, the alum added: "I love this facility and the pastor that founded it."</p> <p>At the time of this writing, 10 Google reviewers produced a high average rating of <strong>4.4 out of five stars</strong> for the center.<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small> "Very good treatment center for woman!!!" J.W. wrote in a representative review.
