<p><strong>ABOUT PATHWAYS COMMUNITY HEALTH IN JEFFERSON CITY, MO</strong></p> <p>Pathways Community Health, located in Jefferson City, Mo., offers <strong>outpatient treatment to adults struggling with substance abuse</strong>. The Jefferson City, Mo. location is one of several Pathways locations in Missouri and Louisiana. In addition to providing drug and alcohol abuse treatment, this location offers a Substance Abuse Traffic Offender Program. Pathways Community Health also offers family medicine, dental, and mental health services at other locations. Pathways Community Health is part of the Compass Health network. </p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Pathways Community Health focuses on <strong>individualized treatment using evidence-based practices</strong>. To be admitted, clients must contact the facility to find a location for a walk-in assessment or to schedule a personal assessment. </p> <p>Three levels of outpatient treatment are available. Level One, Brief Intervention, is an individual-based program that includes four counseling sessions and lasts <strong>four weeks</strong>. Level Two, Alcohol and Drug Awareness, is a <strong>five-week</strong> group-based program that offers ten hours of group education. Level Three, the Choices Program, is an <strong>eight-week</strong> treatment program that offers sixteen hours of group education and two individual counseling sessions. Throughout treatment, clients receive <strong>individual, family and co-dependent counseling</strong> as well as <strong>group counseling, group education, case management, and <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring mental health services</a></strong> if necessary. </p> <p>The <strong>Substance Abuse Traffic Offender Program (SATOP)</strong> is intended for individuals who have committed an alcohol or drug-related traffic violation and are required by law to attend an educational program. The Jefferson City location offers various SATOP formats, from a 10-hour program to a 50-hour program. All SATOP programs at Pathways Community Health are approved by the Department of Mental Health. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The treatment team at Pathways Community Health includes <strong>medical doctors, psychiatrists, social workers, and counselors</strong>.</p> <p><strong>REVIEWS</strong></p> <p>At the time of this writing there have been two friends or family members of a client polled by Rehabs.com. Both loved ones gave Pathways Community Health excellent ratings and said they would recommend it to others. The anonymous loved ones gave the facility five out of five stars for treatment effectiveness, five stars for accommodations and amenities, and four and five stars for meals and nutrition. They agreed that there are many counseling options to choose from, strongly agreed that the facility is adequately equipped and staffed to treat <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery" target="_blank">co-occurring mental health problems</a>, and strongly agreed that facility staff are experienced and well-trained. When asked about strengths of the facility, both reviewers mentioned counseling, saying that Pathways Community Health offers excellent group, family, and holistic healing options. Neither loved one shared any facility weaknesses. One loved one of a client added additional commentary, saying, β€œThey are caring and very experienced in what they do.”</p> <p>On the facility’s Yellowpages.com page, there is an overall rating of one out of five stars based on one total review. <small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small> Alum S.V., expressed that her experience with Pathways Community Health had been negative. She gave one star and wrote, β€œTHE MOST UNORGANIZED DOCTORS OFFICE OF PROFESSIONS I'VE EVER SEEN.”</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>The cost of outpatient treatment at the facility is <strong>$280</strong> for Level One, <strong>$210</strong> for Level Two, and <strong>$410</strong> for Level Three treatment. Additional individual counseling sessions cost <strong>$55</strong> each, and additional group educational sessions cost <strong>$15</strong>.
