<p><strong>ABOUT INSYNERGY</strong></p> <p>From the western suburbs of St. Louis, Missouri, INSynergy offers <br /> <strong>outpatient treatment</strong> to adults struggling with substance use disorder or <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">dual diagnosis</a>. Outpatient <strong>detox</strong> and <a href="https://www.recovery.org/topics/medication-assisted-treatment/" target="_blank">medication assisted treatment (MAT)</a> services are also available, including the use of buprenorphine<br /> for opioid dependence. INSynergy is <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/MO16.pdf" target="_blank">one of 13 Missouri substance abuse treatment facilities to have an opioid treatment program</a>, which make up just one percent of all facilities in the state.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>INSynergy bills itself as an <strong>alternative to 12-step programs</strong>. According to its website, its clients have often attempted sobriety through other programs without success. </p> <p>During the primary phase of therapy, INSynergy recommends that clients attend at least three therapeutic sessions per week, for maximum effect. The program includes individual therapy, <strong>group counseling</strong>, couples/marriage therapy, and <a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/the-pain-of-addiction-in-the-family-how-counseling-can-help/" target="_blank">family counseling</a>, in addition to a roster of cutting-edge therapies. </p> <p>The primary medications used at this facility are <strong>Suboxone and Naltrexone/Vivitrol.</strong> The center also offers The Bridge, a newly FDA-approved device used to treat acute and chronic pain by interfering with brain signals, from a position behind the wearer's ear. The facility also employs genetic testing, used to predict responses to certain drugs and treatments. </p> <p>Following primary treatment, there's an optional six-month <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/extended-recovery-programs/" target="_blank">aftercare</a> program that includes continued support and prescriptions.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Staff includes <strong>medical doctors</strong>, nurses, a <strong>certified reciprocal alcohol and drug counselor</strong>, a licensed professional counselor, and a licensed marital and family therapist. All clients' responses to medications are monitored by the center's medical director, a <strong>board-certified psychiatrist</strong> who specializes in addiction medicine. The single loved one polled by Rehabs.com to date gave the facility three out of five stars for its staff's level of training and experience.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>While Rehabs.com has not yet received any reviews from INSynergy’s alumni, the facility received mixed feedback on secondary sites. It eared average ratings of <strong>three out of ten stars</strong> based on seven Google reviews<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small> and <strong>4.5 out of five stars</strong> based on 31 Facebook reviews<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-2"><sup>[2]</sup></a></small> (which the facility has the ability to edit). They never give up on their clients...even when they tend to give up on themselves," Sebrina told Facebook in a representative review.</p> <p><strong>WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY</strong></p> <p>The one loved one surveyed by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing, an anonymous female between the ages of 18 and 25, gave INSynergy a mixed review. While the respondent noted that she would recommend the facility to friends and awarded it four out of five stars for its treatment of co-occurring disorders, she also noted that the staff were a weakness of this center — an echo of a Google reviewer's comment cited above. </p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p><strong>INSynergy's programs are not covered by insurance,</strong> however the medications used during treatment might be.
