<p><strong>ABOUT FAIRLAND CENTER</strong></p> <p>Fairland Center, located in Tutwiler, Miss., offers <strong>residential and outpatient treatment to adults</strong> seeking treatment for substance abuse and other behavioral health conditions, including gambling addiction, overeating, and uncontrolled sexual behavior. However, the program is self-paced so that clients can stay as long as they need to obtain and maintain sobriety.</p> <p>The facility takes <strong>a holistic approach to treatment</strong>. Clients work with qualified case managers to determine the best method of treatment and to facilitate treatments. All clients undergo an initial assessment to determine an appropriate level of care. Treatment for includes <strong>individual, couples, and family therapy</strong>, case management services, on-site psychiatric services and <strong>medication management</strong>, psychological evaluations, and community education. </p> <p>The program also offers <strong>workshops on parenting skills, anger management, and pain management</strong>. Fairland Center is also one of <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/MS17.pdf" target="_blank">four facilities in the state</a> that allow parents to bring young children with them to the facility. Clients stay in <strong>private rooms</strong> with enough space for young children if applicable. Even though the alum gave five out of five stars for treatment effectiveness, the alum gave one out of five stars for its holistic offerings, family participation, counseling options, and affordability.
