Typically, most assessments are completed within 24 to 48 hours.

According to its website, STS does not focus on one specific treatment model. Instead, they offer a variety of techniques and modalities that best suit each client. In addition to Methadone and Buprenorphine maintenance, the facility also offers day and evening outpatient treatment called Six Dimensions Counseling. The program includes group therapy and education on topics such as stress management, women’s issues, relapse prevention, living skills, career building, and family education.

Clients are also required to attend individual counseling once per week for the first 10 weeks of treatment. After this time and depending upon progress, meetings occur once per week.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

The treatment team at STS includes a medical director, a physician and pharmacists, alongside registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, clinical supervisors, program directors, licensed alcohol and drug counselors, case managers, and paraprofessionals.

WHAT ALUMNI SAY

The single alum surveyed by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing gave STS a mixed review. The former client awarded the facility four out of five stars for its treatment effectiveness, its cleanliness, and its staff’s level of experience and training. “They get things done in a timely manner and our generally friendly,” they wrote. However, the anonymous alum also noted that the facility was highly understaffed and had too many clients, reporting to Rehabs.com, “It's a very irresponsibly run place and the fact that they are not staffed better is terrible.”

STS fared better on third-party sites.
