<p><strong>ABOUT CLUB RECOVERY</strong></p> <p>Serving Minneapolis, Minn., and the surrounding communities since 1998, Club Recovery provides rehabilitation services for individuals who are struggling with <strong>alcohol, drug, and gambling addictions</strong>. All treatment is offered on an <strong>outpatient basis</strong> and may be used to supplement 12-step programming. Detox is not provided on-site.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>All Club Recovery clients first undergo a <strong>chemical dependency (CD) evaluation</strong>, which includes a background review and a one-on-one interview with a licensed drug and alcohol counselor. Based on assessment findings, counselors recommend the most appropriate course of treatment.</p> <p>Depending on their needs, clients may enroll in the center’s <strong>eight-week or three-month intensive outpatient (IOP) program</strong>. Regardless of the duration of the program, participants receive <strong>six hours of treatment each week</strong>. Most of this time is spent in <strong>group counseling with eight to 12 participants</strong>, which uses <strong>cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)</strong> as its primary treatment modality. </p> <p>Clients may be asked to keep a journal, complete assignments, or participate in cognitive rehearsal exercises. Other groups cover topics including spirituality, social interactions, work, and money. <strong>Both coed and gender-specific treatment tracks are offered</strong>, and clients also receive individual therapy and participate in family counseling. In Minnesota, the facility is among the <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/MN17.pdf" target="_blank">42.1 percent and 41.9 percent of facilities</a> to offer specialized programming for women and men, respectively.</p> <p><a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/extended-recovery-programs/" target="_blank">Continuing care</a> is available to clients who complete an IOP or substance abuse treatment at another facility. This program uses peer-to-peer engagement to support long-term recovery. Most clients attend two or three sessions a week.</p> <p>Club Recovery offers Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) Drivers Education Level I and II classes. As such, it is among 20.2 percent of substance abuse treatment centers in Minnesota with <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/MN17.pdf" target="_blank">specialized DUI/DWI programming</a>. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Club Recovery’s treatment team is led by a PhD-level psychologist and includes licensed professional counselors and licensed alcohol and drug counselors.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>Club Recovery is located in a modern office complex in Edina, Minn., which has convenient on-site parking. They show you respect and are good at having intelligent approach to treatment and understanding addiction.” Several, however, were disappointed by what they perceived as a lack of relapse prevention programming and the cost of treatment. </p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>According to its website, Club Recovery works with Minnesota Health Care Programs (MinnesotaCare) and is <strong>in-network with a number of insurance providers</strong>, including Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Cigna, and United Healthcare. The center also accepts clients with out-of-network insurance benefits and offers self-pay options.
