There is a medium-level program, which runs <strong>45 to 90 days</strong>, that is ideal for clients who need <strong>slower-paced treatment.</strong></p> <p>The <strong>adult IOP program</strong> focuses on education, lectures, and family sessions. Offered one to three days per week, IOP also addresses relapse and co-occurring mental health disorders. A sister rehab center, 40 miles away in the town of Morris, offers similar services as well as an adolescent outpatient program. <strong>DUI classes are offered on Saturdays</strong>, though the fee is not covered by insurance.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>New Visions is headed by a medical director and staffed with a variety of mental health professionals. The staff includes counselors, nurses, medical assistants, and administration. </p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>New Visionsβ <strong>25-bed</strong> residential facility is located in a suburban house. The surrounding area features lakes and trails, offering opportunities for clients to <strong>fish, bike, or snowmobile</strong>, depending on the season. Clients also have access to several medical centers for a range of other treatments as needed. Out of five stars, the three individuals polled by Rehabs.com to date gave New Visionsβ accommodations and amenities two three-star ratings and a two-star rating.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>The two alumni polled by Rehabs.com to date gave moderately favorable feedback for the facility. While offering low ratings for exercise and leisure provisions and holistic treatment options, giving only three out of five stars or lower for each metric, both alumni gave four stars when asked how likely they were to recommend treatment at the New Visions Center. One alum wrote: "Better facilities may lead to better treatment," describing that facilities as "small and old."</p> <p>The alumni noted that the strengths of the facility were the amount of family participation in treatment and overall cleanliness and upkeep, both giving four- and five-star ratings for these categories. While the staff member gave the facility four out of five stars for treatment effectiveness, the individual gave the facility only one out of five stars for its holistic offerings and counseling options. The staff member agreed with alumni that family participation was a strength, also praising the "Home type atmosphere" and the "small groups." Additionally, this staff agreed with alumni that the facility itself was a weakness, commenting, "Old building, not handicap friendly/accessible, not able to treat people with severe health issues."</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>Cost of treatment varies based on the length of treatment and the method of payment. According to their website, <strong>New Visions accepts medical assistance</strong> as well as funding from other sources. Potential clients are encouraged to contact staff for further details.
