ABOUT ADDICTION TREATMENT SERVICES – PHOENIX HALL

Located in Traverse City, Mich., Addiction Treatment Services (ATS) offers a variety of services for adult men and women struggling with substance abuse. (Promoting Integrated and Engaged Recovery).

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Treatment at ATS and Phoenix Hall is strongly rooted in evidence-based practices. According to its website: “Everything we do is informed by cutting-edge research into effective treatment.” After an initial assessment, treatment is customized to the individual client’s needs.

The program also takes a trauma-informed approach to addiction and believes that community-supported settings offer the most effective environments for healing and recovery. The facility’s proximity to shopping, coffee shops, and churches is designed to encourage community reintegration as a part of recovery. Toward the end of treatment, referrals to community resources and support groups help clients continue recovery after formal treatment.

The program includes a blend of individual and family counseling, group therapy, skill-building groups, and experiential activities,as well as specific process groups.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

The ATS treatment team includes a nurse practitioner and masters level social workers, as well as other support staff members.

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES

Set in a downtown home with a large porch, Phoenix Hall offers 12 beds.
