In the PHP, adults with anxiety, trauma, or a <a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/dual-diagnosis-and-co-occurring-conditions/" target="_blank">dual diagnosis</a> attend daily group therapy, participate in weekly psychiatric assessments, and receive <strong>referrals for aftercare</strong>.</p> <p>To be eligible for traditional and IOP care, clients must have a primary substance use disorder diagnosis and have symptoms that cause disruption in their ability to carry out major responsibilities. In group therapy, clients have opportunity to connect with others experiencing similar challenges over a range of topics including <strong>early recovery, self-esteem and self-management, relapse prevention, and life skills</strong>.
