<p><strong>ABOUT CENTRAL KANSAS FOUNDATION- SALINA, KS</strong></p> <p>Founded in 1967 and formarly called Central Kansas Foundation, CKS Addiction Treatment operates four locations with the Salina location being the first and main campus. The Salina location also offers a full range of treatment services to adults struggling with substance abuse. It is one of the <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/KS16.pdf" target="_blank">28 (13.9 percent) of Kansas treatment centers</a> that offers <strong>residential care. Outpatient and detox services is also available.</strong></p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>According to Central Kansas Foundation's website, it offers <strong>assessment and referral services</strong> to determine what treatment option is best for each client. The licensed addiction counselors help clients to identify what is causing their problems and refer them on for the appropriate services. </p> <p>The first step of treatment may be detox, and the treatment center offers both <strong>social detox and medication-assisted treatment.</strong> Residential services at CKF include a <strong>20-bed facility</strong> that is staffed at all times. During treatment, clients participate in scheduled activities along with <strong>individual and group counseling sessions</strong>. </p> <p>Individuals participating in the Partial Day Treatment program also have the option to stay over at the residential facility for additional support during the program. </p> <p>CKF follows the <strong>12-step recovery process and utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and the Readiness for Change Model</strong>. Each individual receives an individualized treatment program based on their unique needs. Outpatient programming may include individual counseling,<strong>group treatment</strong> consisting of three hour sessions a couple times a week, <strong>family therapy</strong>, and <a href="https://www.recovery.org/topics/extended-recovery-programs/" target="_blank">aftercare</a> </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The treatment team includes counselors, and the one alum polled by Rehabs.com to date gave one out of five stars for the staff's level of experience. </p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>There is currently no information provided by the facility regarding its living arrangements and related offerings.
