<p><strong>ABOUT RICHMOND STATE HOSPITAL</strong></p> <p>Richmond State Hospital in northwestern Indiana is a state-operated behavioral health facility serving adult and geriatric populations from across the state. The Hope and Recovery program consists <strong>of two 32-bed</strong> units. The dual diagnosis program has <strong>two units, each with 30 beds</strong>. These four units are situated within the Residential Treatment Center (RTC), which has a <strong>dining room, canteen, and beauty/barber shop</strong>, along with <strong>laundry facilities and whirlpool baths</strong>.</p> <p>The Recovery and Transition Service Line houses clients in an intimate, unlocked, six-bed home located on the hospital’s property, called Darby House.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>The only alum currently surveyed by Rehabs.com to date, rated their overall treatment effectiveness a perfect five stars.
