ABOUT PREMIER CARE OF INDIANA - MARION

Surrounded by residential neighborhoods and farmland, Premier Care of Indiana - Marion provides medication-assisted therapy (MAT) treatment through an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults seeking treatment for opioid substance abuse. It is one of the 138 (45.2 percent) outpatient treatment facilities in Indiana that offer an intensive outpatient treatment. Approximately 50 miles southwest of Fort Wayne, Ind., the Marion location is one of seven Premier Care substance abuse treatment clinics in Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, and Wisconsin. Medically-supervised detox services are not available.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

The treatment process begins with an initial intake assessment to make sure each client meets the requirements for opioid addiction. Those who require a more intensive treatment program are referred to other programs. The treatment process focuses on medication-assisted therapy (MAT) using both Suboxone and Methadone.

MAT treatments can be effective in treating opioid addiction. Medications like Suboxone and Methadone replace opioids and are less addictive, so clients can be weaned off of opioids while receiving other forms of treatment. In Indiana, 71 (23.3 percent) facilities offer Suboxone while 74 (24.3 percent) facilities offer Methadone.

The clinic is open 24-7 so that clients can walk in or schedule appointments whenever is convenient. During treatment, clients are monitored by medical staff members to oversee the administration of medications. That way, their progress can be monitored to ensure their health.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

Premier Care’s treatment team consists of substance abuse counselors, registered nurses, and LPNs.

WHAT ALUMNI SAY

At the time of this writing, one alum submitted positive feedback about Premier Care to Rehabs.com.
