<p><strong>ABOUT ILLINOIS VALLEY COUNSELING SERVICES</strong></p> <p>Illinois Valley Counseling Service (IVCS) has two offices in LaSalla County in northern Illinois: one in Ottawa and one in Mendota. Both offices offer <strong>outpatient-based counseling</strong> for individuals struggling with substance abuse or mental and emotional health disorders. </p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Programs at IVCS are personalized with a therapist to best serve the patient. Treatment offered includes <strong>individual, couples, family, and group counseling.</strong> Staff biographies indicate that the center is trained to provide <strong>evidence-based treatments</strong>, such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). </p> <p>IVCS offers same-day and next-day appointments, and appointments are available on evenings and weekends. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Most of the treatment staff are <strong>licensed clinical social workers.</strong> Licensed clinical professional counselors and certified addiction counselors are also on staff. The single individual polled by Rehabs.com to date, a staff member, gave the facility five out of five stars for the overall quality of its mental health, addiction, and medical staff.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>Rehabs.com has not yet received any reviews from alumni of IVCS. "Highly skilled and experienced clinicians . Evidenced based treatment modalities," Rebecca wrote, giving the facility five stars in all evaluated treatment metrics, including the facility's honesty in marketing, its willingness to put clients' interests first, and the overall quality of its care.</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>IVCS accepts most major healthcare plans, as well as Medicare and TriCare.
