The center also uses <strong>evidence-based modalities</strong> like <strong>cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and cognitive self-change (CSC)</strong>. <strong>Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT)</strong> may be used when appropriate to promote a positive identity.</p> <p>Clients enrolled in the <strong>relapse prevention</strong> group will develop coping and intervention skills.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The Walker Center’s medical director is a board-certified family physician, and the facility also employs certified alcohol and drug counselors.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>Two alumni surveyed by Rehabs.com at this time of writing gave mixed feedback concerning The Walker Center.</p> <p>One alumni gave the facility perfect five-star ratings for 11 of 15 evaluated categories, including treatment effectiveness, counseling options, and level of staff training and experience. They wrote: "great caring staff, clean strong willed very accomidating of feelings and emotions.
