<p><strong>ABOUT CROSSROADS TREATMENT CENTER</strong></p> <p>With locations across nine states, Crossroads Treatment Centers specializes in treating adult clients struggling with <strong><a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/why-are-opiate-addicts-so-hard-to-treat/" target="_blank">opioid use disorder</a></strong>. This review focuses on the center located in Suwanee, Georgia, which is about an hour north of Atlanta. The induction phase typically lasts a month. </p> <p>The second phase, early recovery, starts once clients are stabilized and have been participating in group and/or individual counseling. In this phase, clients <strong>develop treatment plans</strong>, discuss triggers, and create a map for long-term recovery. </p> <p>The last phase is called <strong>relapse prevention</strong> and stabilization. The one alum surveyed by Rehabs.com to date gave the Suwanee Crossroads facility five out of five stars for its staff's level of training and experience.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>The one alum polled by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing, who participated anonymously, provided the facility with positive feedback. They awarded it four or five out of five stars for all metrics evaluated, including treatment effectiveness, cleanliness, counseling options, administrative and discharge procedures, and treatment of <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring disorders</a>. "The program I participated in was easy to understand & the staff worked with me through each step until I successfully completed it. Very rewarding experience," they wrote.</p> <p>The Suwanee Crossroads location received mixed feedback on Google<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small>, where it earned an average rating of <strong>three out of five stars</strong> based on 26 reviews. While the majority of negative reviewers were critical of MAT practices in general, there were a couple of former clients who also complained about poor customer service and long wait times. "Phone calls never returned by staff," Melody wrote in a review representative of negative feedback. "On 4 separate occasions I have asked for a return phone call and received 0."</p> <p>However, clients who were happy with their treatment described the facility as professional, helpful, and well-run. In a representative review, Amaranthe wrote: "Very pleased with this clinic, not only are the staff helpful and knowledgeable, but they are very efficient as well, very little wait times, and an all around good experience!!!"</p> <p><strong>WHAT STAFF SAY</strong></p> <p>The one former substance abuse counselor who reviewed the Suwanee location on Indeed<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-2"><sup>[2]</sup></a></small> was highly critical of the facility.
