It offers <strong>outpatient treatment and a partial hospitalization program (PHP)</strong> for adults seeking treatment for <strong>addiction and <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring disorders</a></strong>. Detox is not available on-site, but <a href="https://www.recovery.org/topics/extended-recovery-programs/" target="_blank">aftercare</a> is available for clients who complete their primary treatment program. </p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>The treatment process at Foundations Atlanta begins with a <strong>comprehensive assessment</strong> conducted by a master’s-level clinician to determine if outpatient treatment is the appropriate level of care, and to help the staff develop a <strong>personalized treatment plan</strong>. </p> <p>Treatment at the Roswell facility combines holistic and a range of <strong>evidence-based practices</strong>, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). In Georgia, DBT is utilized in <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/GA17.pdf" target="_blank">54.1 percent of treatment facilities</a> in the state. The modalities are proven-effective in addressing both addiction and a variety of mental health conditions that may contribute to maladaptive behavior. </p> <p>The <strong>partial hospitalization program</strong> consists of individual and group counseling, as well as medication management as necessary. For clients who require additional services, there is an <strong>aftercare monitoring program</strong>, intervention assistance, and state-required evaluations for <strong>DUI offenders</strong>. </p> <p>The facility also offers a range of holistic offerings, including <strong>health and fitness classes</strong>, Pilates, acupuncture, music therapy, and <strong>cooking classes</strong>. Family services, including <strong>a family program</strong> and multi-family group sessions, are also offered to help clients rebuild relationships with their families.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The Roswell treatment team includes <strong>licensed professional counselors</strong>, nationally-certified counselors, a licensed clinical social worker, a master-level addiction counselor, and a registered nurse. Self-pay is also used to cover services that insurance does not cover.
