ABOUT ATLANTA RECOVERY PLACE

Atlanta Recovery Place is a licensed treatment center that offers multiple outpatient treatment programs and supportive housing for males and females, ages 16 to 80.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Atlanta Recovery Place recommends a minimum of 90 days of treatment, though length of stay is ultimately determined following an initial evaluation that factors in a client’s physical, psychological, spiritual, and family needs. Treatment is appropriate for individuals dealing with addictions to alcohol, heroin, opioids, cocaine, sleep aids as well as co-occurring mental health issues like depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar disorder, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

At the highest level of care, partial hospitalization (PHP) programming is ideal for clients in need of a supportive, structured setting without the 24-hour care. Intensive outpatient (IOP) treatment then serves as a step-down option from PHP, while standard outpatient care is geared towards those unable to take time away from work, family, or school. Treatment modalities used include individual and group therapy, 12-step meetings, psychoeducational groups, life skills training, and family sessions.

In each of these tracks, clients have option to reside in a supportive housing community for 90 days or longer. Aftercare offers clients opportunity to engage more fully with their community and other needed services.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

ARP is led by a clinical director who’s a licensed clinical social worker. Upon admission, clients are assigned to a treatment team comprised of physician, psychiatrist, family counselor, continuing care coordinator, and other professionals.

WHAT ALUMNI SAY

Each of the two alumni to leave reviews on Rehabs.com to date both recommended treatment. Former client M.J. found the staff professional and wrote: "The staff there is professional in all areas and treat clients with dignity respect at all times, I would recommend ARP to anyone seeking to maintain long term recovery." Another alum, Jessica, wrote, "I got to focus on me and really get my stuff together. Everything is organized and laid out for you so you can focus on your recovery." While M.J. did not offer ratings for any metrics, Jessica rated treatment effectiveness and accommodations and amenities five out of five stars.

ARP also has four- and five-star ratings from three Google reviewers as of this writing.[1] The majority of the reviews on Google offered specific praise of the staff. "Great staff!" J.W. wrote.

WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY

Proud parent Jeffrey told Rehabs.com of a staff who were “supportive, kind, hardworking, (and) knowledgeable.” He gave 10 out of 10 stars in indicating how strongly he’d recommend treatment, as well as five out of five stars for the staff’s level of training and experience, their availability, the holistic opportunities, and the affordability and cost-worthiness of programming.

Additionally, a parent called Susan wrote in a Rehabs.com review, "We had no contact with our daughter for 30 days, and it was the best thing for the both of us." They also gave the facility perfect five-star ratings for the three metrics rated.

WHAT STAFF SAY

Feedback provided by two employees of ARP was excellent. Both awarded 10 out of 10 stars in indicating how strongly they’d recommend the program, as well as five stars for the counseling options available to clients, the level of safety and comfort provided, and the holistic and exercise opportunities. Collectively, staff found the program to be professionally run and well-managed, though one felt it needed more time, as a new facility, to be “recognized in the market.”

FINANCING

The cost of treatment varies in accordance with various factors like length of stay, diagnosis, and insurance coverage.

[1] https://goo.gl/DPcjbW
