<p><strong>ABOUT RAINBOW RECOVERY CLUB</strong></p> <p>Rainbow Recovery Club provides meeting space for various <a href="https://www.recovery.org/topics/12-step-substance-abuse-recovery-programs/" target="_blank">12-step addiction recovery</a> groups in Tampa, Fla. The facility was founded in 1991 as a nonprofit organization primarily <strong>to support the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender (GLBT) community</strong>. Specialized treatment for LGBT individuals is available at <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/FL17.pdf" target="_blank">22.5 percent</a> of Florida’s 668 treatment facilities.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Rainbow Recovery Club offers individual memberships as well as multiple group meeting rooms open to recovery groups that hold meetings in line with the 12-Steps and <a href="https://www.aa.org/assets/en_US/smf-122_en.pdf" target="_blank">12 Traditions</a> of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA). </p> <p>At the time of this writing, the facility’s website listed half a dozen programs in addition to AA, <strong>including Al-Anon (for family members of individuals struggling with alcoholism)</strong>, Narcotics Anonymous (NA), <a href="https://luxury.rehabs.com/support-organizations/crystal-meth-anonymous/" target="_blank">Crystal Meth Anonymous</a>, Co-dependents Anonymous, Overeaters Anonymous, and Sex &amp; Love Addicts Anonymous. The club's schedule includes <strong>both open and closed meetings as well as some gender-specific meetings</strong>.</p> <p>Club membership, which is not required for attendance at on-site 12-step groups, allows individuals to <strong>participate in club-wide activities</strong> related to community service and connections. A <strong>minimum of 30 days in continuous recovery are required for membership</strong>. Members may also use the clubhouse for any recovery-related purpose that does not interfere with regularly scheduled group meetings.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The Rainbow Recovery Club is governed by an elected board of volunteers, each of whom is a member of a recovery group. </p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong> </p> <p>Rehabs.com has yet to receive any feedback for Rainbow Recovery Club from its former clients. However, reviews on Google and Facebook were <strong>overwhelmingly positive at the time of this writing</strong>. On Google, 47 individuals contributed to a rating of 4.7 out of five stars, and on the club’s official Facebook page, which its staff may manage, a rating of 4.8 out of five was based on the opinion of 19 people.<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small> <small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-2"><sup>[2]</sup></a></small></p> <p>Reviewer trends included positive comments about the <strong>location, the friendly people, and the variety of groups available</strong>. “Good people, many programs, i have found folks with significant recovery here i can learn from,” wrote M.J. in a representative Google review.</p> <p><strong>WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY</strong></p> <p>The sole individual polled to date by Rehabs.com, a loved one, was equally positive about Rainbow Recovery Club. They rated their likelihood to recommend the facility to others four out of five stars.</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>The cost for Rainbow Recovery Club individual membership is $10 per month, or $100 for a year.
