The center offers a residential program for adults, age-specific intensive outpatient programs, and a Spanish outpatient program.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Before beginning treatment at Baptist Health in South Miami, clients undergo an <strong>initial diagnostic assessment</strong> to help clinicians recommend an appropriate level of care. Individuals with <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring psychiatric disorders</a> will be referred to an appropriate facility.</p> <p>Utilizing a variety of <strong>evidence-based treatments</strong>, the residential program for all three age groups and the Spanish Language Program offer services such as <strong>medical stabilization, recovery coaching, individual and family intervention</strong>, and family therapy. Counseling services also address <strong>a variety of mental health and growth issues</strong>, including depression, grief, trauma, divorce, adolescent struggles, and many more.</p> <p>Upon completion of residential care, clients may be referred to the center’s <strong>age-specific intensive outpatient program</strong>, which consists of a minimum of nine hours of treatment per week. Services include psycho-educational lectures, intervention, and therapy. Loved ones are highly encouraged to participate in family therapy sessions.</p> <p>The hospital’s <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/extended-recovery-programs/" target="_blank">continuing care services</a> provide ongoing guidance and support for alumni.
