<p><strong>ABOUT LUCIDA TREATMENT CENTER – MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT PROGRAM</strong></p> <p>Located in a <strong>beach community</strong> 60 miles north of Miami, Lucida Treatment Center offers <strong>luxury residential treatment for men and women struggling with a variety of mood and behavioral disorders</strong>, including major depression, anxiety, trauma, borderline personality disorder, bipolar disorder, and eating disorders. Lucida Treatment Center also has a luxury residential program for men and women struggling with substance abuse and <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring disorders</a>. </p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>The mental health treatment program combines <strong>individual therapy sessions with various treatment modalities</strong>, including trauma resolution therapies such as eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), <strong>cognitive behavioral therapy</strong> (CBT), psychoeducational workshops, group and family therapy, <strong>medication management</strong>, and psychiatric care. </p> <p>The program also has holistic and experiential offerings. An intensive family program is available once a month for loved ones. When clients exit the program, they are eligible for comprehensive continuing care planning and <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/extended-recovery-programs/" target="_blank">aftercare</a>. This may include referrals to community resources and outpatient programs.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The mental health treatment program features a specialized staff of master's and doctoral level therapists, 24/7 nurses, and a board-certified physician. </p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>Residents sleep in <strong>luxurious townhouses</strong> on the waterfront; the treatment facility is in a separate building nearby. <strong>Private rooms</strong> are available for an extra fee.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>At the time of this writing, three alumni provided feedback for The Women's Mood Disorders Program to Rehabs.com. Their feedback was <strong>mostly positive</strong> with some concerns about whether the facility was worth the cost. The facilities are beautiful, and the townhomes allowed for quiet time and cooking."</p> <p><strong>WHAT STAFF SAY</strong></p> <p>To date, one staff member has provided feedback about the facility to Rehabs.com. <strong>The anonymous staffer — who works on a different treatment track at the facility</strong> — gave a <strong>favorable review,</strong> awarding five out of five stars for overall treatment and leadership. </p> <p>The reviewer also praised the variety of treatment approaches, the luxurious facility, and the low client-to-staff ratio, though they added: “The company is a start up so it's still working some things out.
