<p><strong>ABOUT SPRINGBROOK HOSPITAL</strong></p> <p>Located in the suburbs of Brooksville, Fla., about 50 miles north of Tampa, SpringBrook Hospital is offers <strong>a continuum of care for adults</strong> struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Springbrook operates an <strong>inpatient critical care unit</strong> for acute psychiatric distress, outpatient and partial hospitalization programs (PHP) to treat <a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/dual-diagnosis-and-co-occurring-conditions/" target="_blank">dual diagnoses</a>, and a <strong>dedicated program for seniors</strong> struggling with psychiatric and/or addiction concerns. </p> <p>According to a <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/FL16.pdf" target="_blank">2016 SAHMSA survey</a>, the hospital is one of 19.6% of facilities in Florida to offer specialized treatment for seniors. In addition to self-referrals, clients can be admitted by family members, physicians, clinicians, community agencies, ministers, and the judicial system. Medical professionals are encouraged to refer clients for aftercare.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Springbrook Hospital’s multidisciplinary team is comprised of a board-certified psychiatrist, licensed therapists, licensed clinical social workers, medical practitioners, and registered nurses.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>The <strong>66-bed facility</strong> appears to be a straightforward psychiatric hospital, based on images from its website. Participants of PHP receive daily lunch and transportation services. To date, four Rehabs.com survey respondents shared average ratings of <strong>3.5 and 3.25 out of five stars, respectively, for the facility’s accommodations and its cleanliness</strong>.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>Two of the three anonymous former clients surveyed by Rehabs.com shared <strong>positive feedback</strong> for the facility.
