It offers <strong>outpatient and intensive outpatient programs (IOP), as well as optional sober living facilities for women</strong> seeking treatment for substance abuse and trauma-related conditions. Detox services are not available on site, but Awakenings for Women <strong>partners with Detox Boca</strong> to provide detox services for clients. </p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Treatment at Awakenings for Women is <strong>strongly based on the 12-Steps,</strong> which is <a href="https://www.samhsa.gov/data/sites/default/files/2016_NSSATS.pdf" target="_blank">used in 47.7 % of treatment facilities nationwide</a>. Clients attend meetings both on and off-site. The program also includes individual and group counseling, peer support, and a particular <strong>focus on spirituality and trauma</strong> as explored through the 12-Steps. </p> <p>Awakenings for Women is focused on helping women get out of dangerous and self-destructive situations like severe substance abuse or violent home situations. Awakenings provides <strong>affordable housing units that are available long-term</strong> so that clients can progress through the recovery process at their own rate. There are <strong>seven graduate homes</strong> for clients who have completed the program and wish to continue to live in the community. Clients also have access to counselors and other services at a lower frequency to help them transition back into the community. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Awakenings for Women is staffed 24/7 by teams of medical and counseling staff members. The facility is accredited by FARR, an organization that helps sober living groups provide better living conditions.
