<p><strong>ABOUT NORTHEAST TREATMENT CENTERS (NET) - KIRKWOOD RECOVERY CENTER</strong></p> <p>NorthEast Treatment Centers (NET) is a nonprofit behavioral health care organization that offers a continuum of treatment programs for residents of Greater Philadelphia, Lehigh Valley, and Delaware. Specialized tracks are available for women and for clients with <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring disorders</a>. Kirkwood is also one of just five substance abuse treatment facilities in Delaware (<a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/DE17.pdf" target="_blank">15 percent</a> of all treatment facilities in the state) to provide a specialized program tailored to teens.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>In addition to peer specialists, Kirkwood Recovery Center employs <strong>physicians and nurses</strong>, case managers, and substance abuse counselors. The one alum polled by Rehabs.com to date gave the facility three out of five stars for its staff's level of training and experience.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>There is currently no information provided by the facility regarding its living arrangements and related offerings. However, the sole alum polled by Rehabs.com to date gave Kirkwood Recovery Center four out of five stars for its cleanliness and upkeep. By contrast, policies regarding outside communication, and exercise and leisure activities, received just one star apiece. She awarded the facility just one out of five stars for its counseling options, its family participation, its connectivity, and its <a href="http://www.recovery.org/forums/discussion/7265/what-is-holistic-treatment-and-how-can-it-help" target="_blank">holistic</a> offerings, and two stars for its administrative and discharge procedures. "This facility makes it hard to be rehabilitated because they treat every client the same," the alum noted. When asked, on a scale from one to five, if she would recommend the facility, the alum gave a rating of three.</p> <p>On Google<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small>, Kirkwood Recovery Center earned an average rating of <strong>4.1 out of five stars</strong> based on 14 reviews. Of the nine former clients who left comments, six provided positive feedback, including Rebecca who wrote: "Vary welcoming happy people and understanding enjoyed the respect they shown me." The three unsatisfied alumni complained about rude staff and bad food.</p> <p>Feedback was similar on Facebook<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-2"><sup>[2]</sup></a></small>, where the center received a <strong>3.7 out of five star rating</strong> based on the opinions of 20 individuals. While one former client complained about rude staff, all of the other alumni who left feedback offered positive comments. "This place saved my life than you I am so greatful for this place an the people that work there," Justin wrote in representative review.</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>Kirkwood Detoxification Center accepts <strong>private insurance and Medicaid</strong>. According to the facility’s website, the center also accepts uninsured clients and is a United Way affiliate.
