<p><strong>ABOUT APT FOUNDATION IN BRIDGEPORT, CT</strong></p> <p>APT Foundation, located in Bridgeport, Conn. offers <strong>residential and outpatient treatment to adults struggling with substance abuse</strong>. In addition to substance abuse treatment, the facility also offers vocational services, primary care, and psychiatric mental health therapy. APT Foundation is a non-profit organization and was founded in 1970. </p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>To be admitted, clients can visit the facility in person; no appointment is necessary. APT Foundation has four substance abuse treatment tracks: outpatient treatment, an intensive outpatient program (IOP), outpatient medication assisted treatment, and residential services. Clients in the intensive outpatient program receive a <strong>minimum of nine hours of treatment per week</strong>, and are encouraged to transition to the outpatient program after the IOP.</p> <p>The facility’s treatment program uses <strong>motivational interviewing (MI) and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)</strong>.
