<p><strong>ABOUT NORTH RANGE BEHAVIORAL HEALTH</strong></p> <p>Located in Fort Collin, Colo., North Range Behavioral Health offers a wide range of services for people struggling with chemical dependency, mental health disorders, or co-occurring difficulties. The treatment center offers <strong>outpatient services, detoxification services, and residential treatment and services.</strong> </p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>According to North Range's website, the center's <strong>detox program is for anyone 15 years old or older</strong>, and treatment time varies based on individual needs. </p> <p>The facility offers a range of services, including <strong>individual, family, and group therapy along with in-home and intensive therapy.</strong> Substance abuse screenings and treatment, as well as medication evaluation and monitoring are also available. The facility also provides school- and community-based programs.</p> <p>A continuum of residential services are available, such as staffed homes, supported housing, and independent living. The medical staff and therapist work together to determine who need medication, and will work with clients to <strong>monitor and manage medications.</strong> </p> <p>The treatment center has <strong>specific programs for older adults and adults involved with the criminal justice system.</strong> According to a <a href="https://www.samhsa.gov/data/sites/default/files/2016_NSSATS.pdf" target="_blank">2016 SAMHSA survey</a>, North Range is one of 34 percent of facilities nationwide to offer treatment for clients involved with the system. According to information sourced through a Rehabs.com survey, North Range may also introduce clients to <strong>12-step principles and practices</strong>.</p> <p>The treatment center also offers treatment to children and families who are struggling with problems such as <strong>divorce, depression, and school problems</strong>. The team focuses on personal strengths in addition to skills-based therapy, which can renew hope, support recovery, and prevent relapse. North Range offers walk-in testing at all hours of the day.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>North Range's website notes the treatment team includes therapists, counselors, licensed clinicians, and paraprofessionals. The medical staff includes psychiatrists, physician assistants, advanced nurse practitioners, and others.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>There is currently no information provided by North Range regarding its living arrangements and related offerings. Of two alumni surveyed by Rehabs.com to date, one staff member polled by Rehabs.com to date rated the facility one out of five stars in this category, while the alum gave accommodations three stars. </p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>The two alumni polled by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing provided polarizing opinions of the facility. One alum praised the staff's "experience and understanding" but also criticized its lack of holistic treatment offerings. However, they did praise the facility's reliance on 12-step fellowship and felt it "was very important for long term sobriety" upon discharge. In stark contrast, the other alum felt the staff lacked courtesy, consideration, and compassion. </p> <p>On Yelp to date, one reviewer rated the facility only one out of five stars.<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small> They complained of bad treatment, medication management, and appointment times.</p> <p><strong>WHAT STAFF SAY</strong></p> <p>On Glassdoor, one former employee to date rated North Range four out of five stars.<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-2"><sup>[2]</sup></a></small> "Compassionate. Truly cares about staff and their wellbeing," they wrote.</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>According to the center's website, North Range accepts <strong>Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance plans</strong>. Clients with low income and no insurance may be able to get treatment for reduced fees.
