Both programs range in duration from 12 to 27 months and require a "candidacy" period of up to 90 days. During this time, clients are restricted to the facility while they learn about the program and receive health and case management screenings.

Treatment is based on a work therapy model and clients are required to do chores, submit to drug and alcohol testing, and participate in Mission outreaches and activities. The program also provides Bible study groups, counseling, education, life skills development, and case management serves.

New Life participants can earn their GED and go on to higher education, and graduates who qualify may receive vehicles. After eight months in the program, clients are permitted to find work and/or attend school off-site.

Aftercare is offered via New Life's post-graduate programs, which provide continued counseling, drug testing, and volunteer and mentorship opportunities.

STAFF CREDENTIALS

While there is currently no information provided by the facility regarding its treatment team.

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES

Harvest Farm sits on 200 acres of rural land in Wellington and can accommodate 72 residents at a time. The Crossing operates out of a 94,000-square-foot building in Denver and houses up to 130 men total. The one alum surveyed by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing gave DRM three out of five stars for its accommodation and amenities, though they did not specify which New Life program they attended.

WHAT ALUMNI SAY

The one alum polled by Rehabs.com to date, who participated anonymously, gave DRM mixed feedback. While they gave the facility above-average ratings of four out of five stars for its cleanliness, its connectivity, and its affordability, they gave lower ratings of three stars to the facility for its exercise and leisure activities and its family participation. They also awarded just one star to the rehab for its holistic offerings.

On its Facebook page[1], which the organization has the ability to edit, DRM as a whole earned an average rating of 4.5 out of five stars based on 72 reviews. While the majority of comments on both sites did not reference either of the New Life program, Daniel told Facebook that he attended the Crossing and wrote: "I have been in and out of rehabs and prisons almost all my life. If not for the Denver Rescue Mission I would of died in 2015 no doubt in my mind...If not for The Crossing and the wonderful staff and skills I was taught I would be again lost but I knew exactly what I had to do."

FINANCING

There is currently no information provided on the facility's website regarding its costs. According to its website, DRM pays for 80% of its program expenses through donations.

[1] https://www.facebook.com/pg/DenverRescue/reviews/
[2] https://www.yelp.com/biz/denver-rescue-mission-denver-3
