Crawford House's goal is is to <strong>help homeless veterans secure jobs</strong> and a place to stay. If they don't have anywhere to go by the time they leave treatment, they enter a subsidized housing program or a nearby transitional house.</p> <p>Programming includes <strong>case management, training in independent living skills, and job search assistance</strong> (including vocational rehabilitation and computer training) along with group activities that emphasize community interaction. Counseling covers topics such as <strong>self-care, adaptive coping, and anger management.</strong> </p> <p>Before ending treatment, clients are helped to prepare for discharge, find a place to live, and learn life skills on topics like health and personal hygiene.
