"She called & called & called every day, as instructed, to demonstrate that she was truly interested, and after quite a while, managed to get an intake appointment. She was staying in East County, homeless, jobless, penniless, but managed to scrape together bus fare to make it to the meeting, but the woman with whom she had the appointment didn't bother to show up,” Pc M. wrote.</p> <p>Comments about staff rudeness were common on Yelp.</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>The San Diego Rescue Mission is a nonprofit organization that provides services for homeless and needy men, women, and children.
