<p><strong>ABOUT VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA NORTHERN CALIFORNIA & NORTHERN NEVADA: GREATER SACRAMENTO REGION SERVICES</strong></p> <p>Located in Sacramento, Calif. and founded in 1896, Volunteers of America (VoA) is a <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/CA17.pdf" target="_blank">private nonprofit facility, which make up about 53 percent</a> of all treatment facilities in California. <strong>The Christian organization provides services such as housing and addiction treatment for low-income individuals</strong> throughout the US.
