<p><strong>ABOUT BIENESTAR - SUBSTANCE ABUSE</strong></p> <p>Bienestar is a nonprofit founded in 1989 and still run at a grassroots level. Dedicated to improving the health and <strong>wellbeing of the Latino community</strong> of Southern California, the organization operates <strong>seven community centers</strong> in Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties. Treatment for substance use disorder is available in East L.A., South L.A., and the San Fernando Valley. Through <strong>counseling and educational classes</strong>, the goal of treatment is to educate clients on health and wellbeing, identify their problems, and <strong>start them on a journey towards healing and growth.</strong></p> <p>Bienestar also offers <strong>mental health counseling</strong> that can respond to a variety of difficulties, as well as medical treatment for individuals struggling with HIV.
