Los Alamitos is one of six Twin Town Treatment Centers throughout Orange County and Los Angeles County. If required, Twin Town can coordinate <strong>detoxification services</strong> for clients through an affiliated physician.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>To determine the appropriate level of care, clients undergo an initial, no-cost evaluation, consisting of a biological screening and psychosocial assessment.</p> <p>Twin Town's treatment method combines <strong>12-step principles</strong> with <strong>individual therapy, group counseling, and cognitive behavioral therapy</strong> (CBT). The facility also offers a <strong>family education program</strong> and family codependency counseling for loved ones.</p> <p>This facility provides <strong>three levels of care.</strong> Day treatment, the most intense level of care, involves eight hours of programming per day, up to six days per week. <strong>The intensive outpatient program</strong> (IOP) includes three hours of treatment per day, up to six days per week. Clients who successfully complete the IOP are enrolled in the <strong>continuing care</strong> service for four subsequent months, which includes <strong>twice-weekly aftercare treatment sessions</strong>. Twin Town also has an <strong>active alumni organization</strong> that meets once a month.</p> <p>Along with its three basic programs, Twin Town Treatment Centers offers a 10-session track for former clients who have relapsed and an alcohol and drug education program for criminal justice clients. This latter program also can be used for employer referrals; it includes regular urinalysis testing.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Twin Town Treatment Center of Los Alamitos employs <strong>licensed substance abuse counselors,</strong> family therapists, and case managers.
