<p><strong>ABOUT CENTER FOR DISCOVERY - RESILIENCE PACIFIC PLACE</strong></p> <p>Resilience Pacific Place is one of two Center for Discovery (CFD) residential treatment centers for adolescents located in Long Beach, Calif. It is a private for-profit facility, which make up about <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/CA17.pdf" target="_blank">34 percent</a> of all treatment facilities in California; it is <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/CA17.pdf" target="_blank">one of the 279 (21.3 percent)</a> of California facilities that offers specialized treatment services for adolescents.</p> <p>This facility <strong>specializes in caring for teens who struggle with substance use and <a href="https://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring disorders</a></strong> and conditions, such as depression, anxiety, self-injury, and trauma. The center’s treatment team also includes a psychiatrist, nurses, and additional master’s-level therapists, several of whom are certified in <a href="https://www.recovery.org/forums/discussion/7265/what-is-holistic-treatment-and-how-can-it-help" target="_blank">holistic practices</a>.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>Resilience Pacific Place accommodates six residents at a time. A Center for Discovery website video features a large, multi-story home, open kitchen, <strong>sunny shared bedrooms, and a plushly furnished living room</strong>. The center is located in a residential neighborhood to support the transitional process as clients progress toward returning home.</p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>Although Rehabs.com has yet to receive any feedback for Resilience Pacific Place from former clients, alumni gave positive ratings elsewhere.
