<p><strong>ABOUT REBECCA’S HOUSE EATING DISORDER TREATMENT PROGRAMS- LAKE FOREST, CA</strong></p> <p>Rebecca's House Eating Disorder Treatment Programs, located in Lake Forest, Calif., offers <strong>residential and several levels of outpatient treatment to adults struggling with eating disorders</strong>. Rebecca’s House specializes in treating clients who are struggling with bulimia, anorexia, binge eating, compulsive overeating, and food addiction. This is also amongst the <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/CA17.pdf" target="_blank">720 (54.9 percent)</a> treatment centers in the state with a track for clients who are <strong>struggling with <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring substance use disorder</a></strong> or other mental illnesses.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>The facility’s treatment program follows a <strong>holistic approach to treatment</strong> including methods such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). In order to be admitted, clients first complete an initial evaluation to determine their level of treatment. Clients are typically able to begin treatment within one week of first contacting the facility. Clients undergo a medical evaluation upon admission and <strong>must receive medical clearance prior to enrolling in the program</strong>. Clients who require a higher level of care, such as hospitalization, may be referred elsewhere if needed. Clients participating in the residential treatment program typically remain in treatment for <strong>30 to 90 days</strong>.</p> <p>Throughout treatment, clients receive <strong>individual psychotherapy and group psychotherapy process groups, body image groups, nutrition groups, spiritual growth group, and psycho-educational classes</strong>. Clients also learn healthy living skills including stress management and personal boundary recognition along with compulsion and addiction management.</p> <p>The treatment program is broken into <strong>five different phases</strong>. The first phase is the <strong>Discovery Phase</strong> where clients are introduced to treatment and establish safety, assess their current needs, and receive medical, clinical, and psychiatric stabilization while identify treatment goals. The second phase is the <strong>Awareness Phase</strong> where clients focus on learning after establishing clinical readiness to change themselves. The third phase is the <strong>Action Phase</strong> where clients apply what they have learned and put it into action. Phase four is the <strong>Responsibility and Commitment Phase</strong>; clients begin to make a plan for how they will stick to their commitment to recover after treatment ends. The home has four shared bedrooms in an updated residential home. <strong>Rancho Pacifico</strong> is another transitional living home for eating disorder treatment clients that also offers three shared bedrooms in a comfortable residential home setting.
