Treatment lasts <strong>between three and eight hours per day</strong> and may provided up to five days per week. Programs last up to 90 days with an <strong>average length of six to eight weeks</strong> and are offered in the daytime or the evening to suit a variety of schedules.</p> <p>The PHP and IOP programs both utilize <strong>medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and group therapy</strong>. In the PHP program, the most intense level of treatment, clients spend between 20 and 30 hours in treatment per week, with six hours per day of <strong>vocational counseling and psychological testing</strong> among other services. </p> <p>The IOP program has clients meet <strong>three hours per day, three days per week</strong>. Services include group therapy, psychotherapy, and psycho-educational services. In the OP program, clients develop <strong>coping and relapse prevention skills</strong> and may meet with licensed professionals once or twice a month.</p> <p>Smoking cessation therapy is available and the center provides <strong>internal medicine services and drug testing</strong> as a matter of course. Transportation is provided to clients if needed. When necessary, the center can refer clients to sober-living facilities.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>Dr. Mark Towns, the founder, who is on-site full-time, is a board-certified physician and addictionologist with 25 years’ experience in the field. The staff also includes other certified counselors each of whom has more than 11 years' experience in addiction counseling. </p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>Town Health Service is located in a quiet commercial neighborhood in the small town of Galt, in Northern California’s Central Valley. Though no further description of the facilities are available on the website, both individuals surveyed by Rehabs.com to date gave perfect five-star ratings for the facility's accommodations &amp; amenities. Both gave Towns Health Services five out of five stars for the facility's overall effectiveness. Tyler wrote: "Excellent program thank you for coming to Galt. Great location right across the street from post office and right off freeway for easy access," while alum M.T. added: "Great staff and accommodations!!"</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>Towns Health Services does not publish its prices online, however, the website indicates that the center accepts insurance from private providers including Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, and Tri-West. The center also <strong>accepts Medi-Cal from Sacramento County residents</strong> and offers payment plans.</p>
