<p><strong>ABOUT REDWOOD TEEN CHALLENGE</strong></p> <p>Teen Challenge is an international network of faith-based rehabilitation programs founded by the Reverend David Wilkerson in New York in 1958. Residents also receive more privileges and more responsibilities during this stage of treatment.</p> <p>Under Redwood Teen Challenge's work-therapy component, residents are trained in fields such as <strong>landscaping, food service, construction, painting, and janitorial services.</strong> Members of the public can then hire them to complete such services, through Teen Challenge. Some clients also train as baristas and retail assistants at the organization's coffee shop and Christian bookstore.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>There is currently no information provided by the facility regarding its treatment staff, however, the single alum of Redwood Teen Challenge polled by Rehabs.com to date gave the facility two out of five stars for its staff's level of training and experience.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>The men's center is located in a <strong>converted hotel</strong> in central Eureka, and houses up to 52 residents at a time.
