<p><strong>ABOUT COLTON COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT CENTER</strong></p> <p>Colton Comprehensive Treatment Center is one of two Southern California <strong>outpatient medication-assisted treatment (MAT) facilities</strong> operated by Inland Empire Comprehensive Treatment Centers. The center <strong>exclusively treats adults struggling with opiate addiction</strong> through medication management and counseling. Located in Colton, the clinic is open seven days per week. Inland’s second <a href="https://www.rehabs.com/listings/riverside-clinic-2192349474/" target="_blank">treatment clinic is in Riverside</a>. </p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>To be eligible for the medication maintenance program, prospective Colton Comprehensive Treatment Center clients must be at least 18 years of age and have been dependent upon opiates for at least one year prior to admission. The intake process, which includes a <strong>medical history, physical exam, and drug screenings</strong> requires approximately two hours. Clients must arrive to their appointment in a <strong>state of withdrawal for at least 20 hours</strong>. </p> <p>Based on each client’s individual needs, they may be <strong>prescribed Methadone, Subutex, Suboxone, or Vivitrol</strong>. In addition to medication and withdrawal management, the clinic offers clients additional support through <strong>individual counseling and group therapy sessions</strong>. The center’s counseling sessions address topics including trauma, underlying causes of addiction, coping skills, self-confidence, and <strong>stress and emotion management.</strong></p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>According to the facility’s website, the staff includes physicians, nurses, and counselors who specialize in addiction treatment. </p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>Rehabs.com has not yet received any reviews for Colton Comprehensive Treatment Center from its alumni. Feedback on other secondary review sites was mixed. On Google, about one-third of 15 reviewers characterized the center’s staff as unprofessional, lacking respect, or disorganized.
