<p><strong>ABOUT COMMUNITY BRIDGES, INC. WINSLOW OUTPATIENT</strong></p> <p>Founded in 1982, Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) operates nearly 30 behavioral health facilities throughout Arizona, including a residential facility in <a href="https://www.rehabs.com/listings/community-bridges-inc-residential-outpatient-yuma-2171292352/" target="_blank">Yuma</a> and outpatient clinics in <a href="https://www.rehabs.com/listings/community-bridges-inc-steele-commons-3088904090/" target="_blank">Phoenix</a> and <a href="https://www.rehabs.com/listings/community-bridges-inc-casa-grande-outpatient-2898076746/" target="_blank">Casa Grande</a>. The facility in Winslow, which is about 60 miles east of Flagstaff, provides <strong>outpatient treatment</strong> to adults struggling with substance use disorder or <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring disorders</a>. The facility also provides <strong>ambulatory detox services,</strong> and is one of only 42 outpatient treatment facilities in Arizona (just <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/AZ17.pdf" target="_blank">12 percent</a> of all facilities in the state) to provide medical detox.</p> <p>In addition to addiction rehabilitation, the CBI network also offers community education, women’s and children’s programs, 24-hour crisis and transfer centers, as well as housing and employment assistance.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Upon admission to the outpatient clinic, each client receives an initial substance abuse and psychiatric evaluation to assist clinicians in forming an <strong>individualized treatment plan</strong>.</p> <p>The program utilizes <strong>evidence-based practices</strong>, and clients participate in a range of therapies centered around individual, group, and <a href="https://www.recovery.org/pro/articles/the-pain-of-addiction-in-the-family-how-counseling-can-help/" target="_blank">family therapy</a>. </p> <p>They may also receive <strong>medication management</strong> and work with therapists to address co-occurring disorders that contribute to their substance abuse concerns. Medications for psychiatric disorders are prescribed in <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/AZ17.pdf" target="_blank">a little more than half</a> of all treatment facilities in the state. </p> <p>At the completion of the program, clients participate in <strong>discharge planning</strong> and <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/extended-recovery-programs/" target="_blank">continuing care</a> planning to facilitate a smooth transition back into the community. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>According to the facility's website, the treatment team includes <strong>licensed medical practitioners</strong> and medical support staff, as well as <strong>master's-level clinicians</strong> and peer support specialists. The one loved one surveyed by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing gave CBI five out of five stars for its staff's level of training and experience.</p> <p><strong>WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY</strong></p> <p>The one loved one surveyed by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing, an anonymous female between the ages of 26 and 39, gave the Winslow CBI mostly positive feedback and indicated that she would highly recommend the rehab to others. She awarded the clinic four or five out of five stars for its cleanliness, family participation, administrative and discharge procedures, and its treatment of co-occurring disorders. "Great staff , accepting of all backgrounds, know clients and families well," she wrote. Her one wish was that the facility offered longer-term, more extensive treatment.</p> <p><strong>WHAT STAFF SAY</strong></p> <p>While Rehabs.com has not yet received any reviews from this facility’s staff, the location in Winslow earned one five-star rating and one three-star rating on Google<small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small>. The five-star reviewer wrote: "Caring providers, excellent service. Great place to work."</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>According to its website, CBI serves individuals who are struggling with poverty regardless of their ability to pay. Treatment is offered on a <strong>sliding fee scale</strong> to those that qualify.
