<p><strong>ABOUT SPRINGBOARD HOME FOR YOUTH IN CRISIS</strong></p> <p>Springboard Home for Youth in Crisis provides <strong>faith-based residential treatment to girls aged 12 to 17</strong> who are struggling with substance use disorder and/or other life-controlling problems. A part of <a href="https://www.rehabs.com/listings/teen-challenge-of-arizona-1696253775/" target="_blank">Teen Challenge of Arizona</a>, the facility has been in operation since 1976 and is located in Tucson. Clients also participate in faith-based <strong>individual, group, and family counseling</strong>, and are assigned household chores.</p> <p>Family is considered an important part of the treatment process. <strong>Parents are required to participate</strong> in family counseling, weekly phone calls, workshops and retreats, and family counseling assignments.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The treatment team is made up of <strong>Biblical counselors</strong> who have experience working with at-risk youth. All counselors are overseen by master's-level staff and must have, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree. The one loved one surveyed by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing gave Springboard four out of five stars for its staff's level of training and experience.</p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>Set on more than 10 acres of desert land, Springboard houses girls in <strong>two large, dorm-style rooms</strong> that accommodate 10 residents each. Special menus cannot be created for vegans or vegetarians; according to the facility's website, all clients will be required to "eat what is served here at Springboard, which will include meat and other proteins."
