Though it’s located in Scottsdale, Ariz., Soul Surgery provides services to the Greater Phoenix Area including Old Town Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Fountain Hills, Tempe, Chandler, Mesa, Apache Junction, Glendale and Surrounding Areas. The facility employs evidence-based mental health practices.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

Using substance abuse assessments, the staff at Soul Surgery determines the appropriate treatment measures needed by each client and their family. The client is then placed in the appropriate program. The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) involves 25 hours of psychotherapy each week, and is one of only 42 (11 percent) in the state of Arizona to offer this type of programming. The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) includes a minimum of 12.

Soul Surgery offers individual sessions, family sessions, psychiatric services, EMDR treatment for PTSD, and massage therapy. The facility also offers Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT). Treatment of co-occurring mental health disorders is a priority at Soul Surgery, with a focus on anxiety disorders, eating disorders, mood disorders, bipolar disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

STAFF CREDENTIALS

The staff at Soul Surgery consists of a medical director and team as well as licensed counselors.

ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES

Residential specifications are not provided, however Soul Surgery has a list of amenities including a full gym with a rock climbing wall and basketball court on site, and its sober home includes a tennis court, a swimming pool, and a private chef. Secondary sources also lacked reviews.

WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY

To date, a sole family member left a review on Rehabs.com. The loved one gave a very positive review across all metrics, writing, β€œI have a family member who attended there services, he is doing great and really enjoyed the groups as well as the overall feeling of the facility. I would reccomend this facility to any family or friend.”

FINANCING

Soul Surgery accepts most major forms of insurance.

CONCLUSION

Soul Surgery Addiction and Mental Health Centers recently began testing for medical hypersensitivity. If a patient's body is sensitive to a substance, the facility’s medical team can determine exactly what they may be reacting to.
