It is also one of the just 37 (10.3 percent) treatment facilities in the state with detoxification services available on-site. The facility is a non-profit organization that encourages individuals to grow in their faith as they also grow in their sobriety.

TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT

If needed, clients begin treatment with detoxification. The detox process consists of three main areas of focus including evaluation, stabilization, and transition into treatment. Detox typically lasts 3-5 days.

The men’s residential program typically lasts six to 12 months, although an accelerated program is available that lasts between one and three months. Each client receives an individual treatment plan developed by the doctors, nurses, counselors, and other treatment staff.

Overall, the residential program entails three phases. During the early stages of the program, clients participate in Bible studies, attend three church services per week, engage in individual and group counseling, and partake in an exercise regimen. During the second phase of treatment, the facility offers integrated family counseling. Secondary-source reviewers also indicated that the facility utilizes the 12-step model of recovery.

After clients have stabilized and become more accustomed to the program, they take place in skill-building services such as pre-job training and financial planning classes, as well as various team building activities. Once they complete their pre-job training course, clients are encouraged to either find work or attend school part time while they continue their treatment.

Outpatient options are co-ed and include a partial hospitalization program (PHP), which runs Monday through Friday and includes substance abuse counseling and regular drug testing. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) includes three or more days per week of counseling depending on client need and typically lasts 90 days.

The key focus of outpatient programs is identifying relapse triggers and developing relapse prevention strategies. Once clients complete the IOP, they may step down into the less-restrictive outpatient program, which includes counseling two to three times per week, as well as drug testing.

An aftercare program is available to all clients who complete outpatient treatment and lasts from three to six months.
