<p><strong>ABOUT FREEDOM RECOVERY CENTER</strong></p> <p>Freedom Recovery Center, located in Prescott, Ariz., offers offers <strong>outpatient treatment for adults struggling with addiction and <a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/dual-diagnosis-recovery/" target="_blank">co-occurring mental health disorders</a>.</strong> The facility does not offer residential treatment, but partners with three residential rehabilitation facilities: New Freedom, Footprints, and One Square Recovery. Freedom Recovery Center is located in downtown Prescott in Arizona’s central mountains, about 100 miles south of the Grand Canyon. </p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>The facility’s treatment program follows the <strong>12-Step</strong> method. To be admitted, clients may contact the facility directly by phone or fill out an interest form on the facility’s website. Admission begins with an <strong>individualized treatment plan</strong> for each client. The <strong>Dual Diagnosis Program</strong> at Freedom Recovery Center is tailored for clients who are also in need of help with medication management, borderline and other personality disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, an eating disorder, or trauma in addition to substance abuse and addiction. </p> <p>Throughout treatment, clients receive <strong>individual therapy, wellness programming, comprehensive drug and alcohol education, and evidence-based treatment methods.</strong> Families are included in the treatment program through the facility’s <strong>Family Program.</strong> The Family Program includes weekly family contact, monthly family workshops, family education, group and individual family therapy, and referrals for family members when appropriate. Detox services are not offered, but the treatment team will help clients make arrangements for detox if needed. </p> <p><a href="http://www.recovery.org/topics/extended-recovery-programs/" target="_blank">Aftercare</a> is available for all clients who successfully complete the program. Freedom Recovery Center’s <strong>Continuing Care Program</strong> includes two therapy sessions per week, a weekly drug screening, and access to all medical and clinical staff. </p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The treatment team at Freedom Recovery Center includes <strong>four therapists and a clinical director</strong>. Many staff members have been through recovery themselves, including one of the owners. </p> <p><strong>ACCOMMODATIONS & AMENITIES</strong></p> <p>Freedom Recovery Center operates a <strong>5,500 square foot treatment facility</strong> equipped with therapist’s suites, executive offices, a clinical laboratory, doctors office, and three group therapy rooms. The single-story building sits on a <strong>landscaped and wooded lot and features private parking as well as an outdoor patio area</strong>. </p> <p><strong>WHAT ALUMNI SAY</strong></p> <p>At the time of this writing there have been two alumni polled by Rehabs.com. Both alumni gave Freedom Recovery Center glowing reviews. The anonymous clients gave the facility five out of five stars for treatment effectiveness, five stars for accommodations and amenities, and five stars for meals and nutrition. They agreed that there are many counseling options to choose from, and strongly agreed that facility staff are experienced and well-trained. They felt that strengths of Freedom Recovery Center were the caring staff and individualized treatment each client receives. When asked about weaknesses of the facility, the alumni said they did not have any complaints and could not think of any weaknesses. One alum added additional commentary, saying, “I firmly believe that New Freedom not only saved my life, but also gave me an opportunity to create a new one. I came because I was afraid to die, I left with a desire to live.”</p> <p>On the facility’s Facebook page, which it can manage, there is an <strong>overall rating of 4.9 out of five stars based on twenty two total reviews.</strong> <small class="footnote"><a target="_blank" href="#footnote-1"><sup>[1]</sup></a></small> The reviews are overwhelmingly positive. Alum B.Y., who gave five stars, said he could not have better things to say about Freedom Recovery Center. He wrote, “It was tough and sometimes uncomfortable but I'm still on the same path 3 years later. I owe these guys for helping me build a solid foundation in my recovery.” B.J., a loved one, supported that viewpoint. He gave five stars and wrote, “I know a large number of individuals who have succeed in having a healthy and long-lasting recovery after attending this program.” </p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>The cost of treatment at Freedom Recovery Center is <strong>$200 per day, $3,200 per month, or $9,600 per three months</strong>. The facility <strong>accepts insurance</strong> including Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, and more.
