<p><strong>ABOUT TERROS</strong></p> <p>With its main administrative office in Phoenix, Ariz., Terros is a behavioral health treatment provider that offers <strong>residential programs for adults</strong> struggling with chemical dependency and co-occurring disorders, as well as <strong>outpatient programs for individuals of all ages</strong> struggling with psychiatric issues. Medical detoxification is available on an outpatient basis.</p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>Clients who require a high level of structure and supervision may be referred to Terros’ Maverick House. Located in Glendale, a suburb of Phoenix, Maverick House is a 29-bed residential center where clients receive a <strong>structured schedule of educational and therapeutic programming</strong>, as well as aftercare services.</p> <p>Terros also operates Maverick House Sober Living, a <strong>residential program for men</strong> with at least 30 days of sobriety who are active in 12-Step. Residents participate in individual and group therapy sessions, <strong>attend 12-step meetings</strong>, and are required to obtain employment. Men can stay in the sober living residence for up to one year.</p> <p>Terros also offers three types of outpatient treatment — traditional outpatient, LADDER, and Interfaith Counseling. Traditional outpatient for adults includes <strong>relapse prevention education</strong>, individual and group counseling, and <strong>medication management</strong>. LADDER (Life Affirming Dual Diagnosis Education and Recovery) is a specialized outpatient program designed to treat individuals with co-occurring disorders.</p> <p>Interfaith Counseling provides psychotherapy and psychiatric services for adults, families, adolescents, and children. Multiple loved ones felt that a strength of the facility was that the staff members cared about their patients and were knowledgeable, writing “Counsellors were knowledgeable and caring” and “the employees are well trained and knowledgeable.”</p> <p><strong>WHAT STAFF SAY</strong></p> <p>At the time of this writing there has been one staff member polled by Rehabs.com. The staff member T.L.C.S., gave the facility two out of five stars for treatment effectiveness, two stars for accommodations & amenities, and three stars for meals & nutrition.</p> <p>T.L.C.S. disagreed when asked if the facility staff were experienced and well-trained; and if she would recommend this facility to a friend or loved one who was considering rehab.</p> <p>She agreed that the facility was adequately equipped and staffed to treat co-occurring mental health problems in addition to substance use disorders; that the facility strictly offered a faith-based program; and that it strictly followed a 12-step model.</p> <p>T.L.C.S. said that a strength of the facility was that “they try to help” but a weakness was that “they give drugs to help stop using drugs.” She also wrote that her daughter was a client at the facility but began her drug use again after leaving.</p> <p><strong>FINANCING</strong></p> <p>Terros accepts most private insurance and AHCCCS plans.
