<p><strong>ABOUT PHOENIX DREAM CENTER</strong></p> <p>Launched in Los Angeles in 1994, Dream Center is now a network of 267 church missions around the world. Founded in 2006 and located in Phoenix, Ariz., the Phoenix Center is a <a href="https://wwwdasis.samhsa.gov/webt/state_data/AZ17.pdf" target="_blank">private nonprofit, which make up about 51 percent</a> of all treatment facilities in Arizona; it is one of the 78 (22.9 percent) of Arizona treatment centers that offers <strong>residential treatment services to men and women struggling with substance use.</strong> The treatment center also offers community outreach, shelter for victims of human trafficking, veterans assistance, and foster care intervention programs. </p> <p><strong>TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT</strong></p> <p>According to the Phoenix Dream Center's website, the Christian discipleship program is a <strong>15-month program,</strong> built around "discipleship, mentoring, ministry, and outreach." </p> <p>The <strong>program revolves around work therapy and Bible study</strong>. Residents participate in tight schedules and their days include strict wake-up times, work out regiments, class times, and volunteer hours. </p> <p>Daily Bible classes focus on renewing the mind and riding it from old habits and addiction. Residents are required to <strong>participate in volunteer and career development activities</strong> such as learning how to show up on time, how to interview, how to interact with others, and learn a new trade. GED and high school education programs are offered on campus.</p> <p><strong>STAFF CREDENTIALS</strong></p> <p>The Dream Center relies on an extensive volunteer staff. There are also paid staff members, though the facility does not at present specify their credentials.
